Pula and Chia, with their beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters, are two of the main Sardinian tourist localities in the south-west. Located on the border between the territories of Campidano and Sulcis they represent one of the favourite destinations for summer holidays. Pula is known above all for the famous golf green Is Molas Golf Club, one of the most striking in Italy, with its 18 holes. A few kilometers from Pula is Nora, an ancient city founded by the Phoenicians in the VIII century BC, one of the first true cities of Sardinia (for some scholars, the first). 
Chia belongs to the tourist town of Domus de Maria, famous for having 10km of coast 4 or 5 among the most beautiful beaches of the whole Sardinia, with Su Giudeu, Cala Cipolla and Tuerredda above all. There are many hotels, houses and villas for the holidays, and dozens tour operators offer excursions on sea and on land, and ever more Chia is a Do Not Miss destination for tourists in Sardinia.
